Pilgrimcenter Dale-Gudbrand

St. Olav ways – Pilegrimsleden,  a historical route in nature, culture heritage and reflection. Experince your inner self and feel the Norwegian nature. Gudbrandsdalsmusea is a regional museum for Gudbrandsdalen. The Pilgrimcenter Dale-Gudbrand is a part of the museum and offer information, guidance and give advices for touroperators regarding hiking on the pilgrim path to Nidaros and Trondheim.

Primary objectives are pilgrim- path in Gudbrandsdalen. The pilgrimpath, Gudbrandsdalen is the longest pilgrim route in Norway, and was the main road to Nidaros, todays Trondheim, during the Middle Ages. Walk in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims and be inspired by a diverse nature and cultural landscape.

  • Pilgrimcenter Dale-Gudbrand is located at Dale-Gudbrands gard in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, one hour drive from Lillehammer.
  • We offer information and guidance for pilgrims, tour operators and help to plan pilgrimage/ hikes on the St Olav ways – Gudbrandsdalsleden.
  • We have accommodation for pilgrims – albergue
  • We cooperate with incoming tour operators, accommodations sites and offers guiding on the St Olav path in Gudbrandsdalen.  We have a lot of expertise on culture heritage and storytelling.”
